The funny part bout the countdown sleepover I had was that Dyna was still doing something to her braces during the countdown. Haha...Classic. She missed the Countdown while we (Fathiah, Diana, Jia Xuan and me) were counting down to the Year 2009. Super funny.
By the way, refreshing back...We had a sleepover at Dyna's Three-Storey Terrace House during the First Day (Or Night to be exact) of the Year 2009. It was seriously my First Sleepover at a Friend's House. I know, I'm such a loser. But it seems 2009 is kinda like a year where new things will happen, and I'm sure of it.
Anyway, we started to hang around at the 2nd Floor Balcony (well, it wasn't really a balcony, more like an overhead shelter to protect the car on the first floor from the rain) and had like a picnic there. We got snacks and drinks and when 2009 arrived, I was honoured to pop the confetti-in-a-bottle-thingy. Just look at the picture.
Ok... Now, I'm sure everyone's dying to know the tragic beginning. Well...It's greatly a tragic event for me, 'cause who wouldn't be depressed after letting a $500 7.2Megapixel Smart Touch Samsung L73 Camera dropped from the 2nd Storey and broke!!!! Argghhhh....Super frustrating!!! I placed the camera on a tripod and place the tripod on the ledge of the balcony. (I know, What a Stupid region to place a camera) And suddenly, I slipped and tried to break my fall by holding onto the ledge. Well, what do you know... My fingers pushed the tripod away from the ledge...AND BAM!!! It crashed!!! The weird thing is that when we found it, it was directly under the Swing. So, it must have crashed somewhere near it and somehow got magically transported under the swing.
The whole night (or morning) was a complete spoiled beginning of a new year, in which I was depressing bout it most of the time. My friends did try to cheer me up (and prevent me from burning my hands with a lighter) and I tried to stay as positive as I could. But still, they're glad it was just the camera rather than me falling from the balcony.
One time, when I tried to get back to the balcony by climbing out of the window, I accidentally creaked the window which immediately woke up Dyna's Mum. (P.S. The only way to get to the so-called "balcony", we have to climb through Dyna's Mum's Bedroom Window) Her eyes were freakishly huge and she just stared at me like I was looking at Devil's Eyes (Sorry if I offended your mum Dyna), and it seriously freaked me out. I was scared to death and quickly apologised to her. It was a moment far worse than when my camera dropped.
Eventually, we kept on talking and talking even though everyone's mind is ordering us to Sleep!!! We talked till the birds were singing. (FYI Birds are usually the first creatures to wake up early in the morning at around 4 to 5am) Yeah, it was like freaking 6am and the sun was already rising. So, we quickly took a quick nap at 6:30am and eventually woke up at 8am. So, it was a 2 hour nap, rather than sleep.

We ate breakfast at KFC (my first time in the longest time... I keep going to MacDonald's) and Dyna's Mum 'belanja' us. (translation: 'treat') The Breakfast Twister Wrap (American) was superbly delicious!!! I could just eat them again and again.
Well...that's what we had during our new year's day. Later, we went our separate ways after breakfast to our homes and I believe we slept the entire afternoon later on.
